The highly successful Bristol Ladies Rugby team are setting up a development programme starting in September 2013.
The programme is designed for 16 to 19 year old girls who would like to combine academic studies with rugby development.

Bristol Flyers are soaring into the British Basketball League next year.
Flyers - who will be owned by Bristol Sport Ltd - are set to tip-off in the BBL at the start of the 2014-15 season, September 2014.

The 2013 Sail for Gold Regatta at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy starts on Sunday and will welcome over 200 athletes from 22 Nations across the Olympic and Paralympic sailing classes.
A fleet of sailing stars are set to compete over five days off the Dorset coast - illuminated in the world sailing spotlight last summer as host for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing competitions.

Victory against Bedfordshire at Cople Argus Cricket Club today (1100) would enable Cornwall to reach the 2013 Minor Counties Cricket Association Knockout Trophy quarter-finals.

Cornwall's Sarah-Jane Boyd has won the English Women's Amateur Championship at Kings Norton, Worcestershire.
Boyd finished two strokes ahead of fellow England golf international Alex Peters with a total of two over par 290 after four rounds.
