Devon's Loughborough Students skipper Giselle Ansley is set to make her England Hockey senior debut next month.
The former Plymouth Marjon and Dartmouth defender has been named in a youthful new-look England women's squad for the forthcoming Investec Challenge tournament in Cape Town, South Africa, from Feb 4-11.

Bath Rugby have swooped to sign highly experienced Irish scrum half Peter Stringer as short-term injury cover.
With 98 caps Cork-born Stringer, 35, is the Ireland's most-capped scrum-half as well as making 232 appearances for Munster.

Today replicates recent "normal" winter Saturdays with scores of pitch inspections and subsequent postponements due to inclement weather conditions.
Up until now it's been due to unrelenting rain. Today it's down to the cold snap, the forecast for heavy snow, plummeting temperatures and the knock-on effect for sports teams and their supporters in South Wales and South West England.
