Australian scrum-half Pat Phibbs is to remain with the Exeter Chiefs until the end of the season after extending his contract with the Aviva Premiership club.
The 30-year-old was brought to Devon back in September by Exeter head coach Rob Baxter on a short-term deal to act as cover whilst Junior Poluleuligaga was away at the Rugby World Cup with Samoa.

Exeter City have been drawn at home to League One rivals Walsall in the FA Cup first round.
Paul Tisdale’s Grecians won 2-1 at Walsall in the league last Tuesday before Saturday’s epic 4-4 draw at Sheffield United.

The Rugby Football Union have announced their provisional England Under 18 squad for the 2011/12 season, including Millfield School & Bath Rugby duo Tom Ellis and Max Northcote-Green and Ivybridge Community College & Exeter Chiefs forward Joel Conlon.
Under the stewardship of head coach John Fletcher, England U18 have enjoyed several years of success, with 24 wins in their last 27 internationals, including their most recent triumph – a 46-19 win against Australia last August.

Fit-again Bristol Rugby skipper Iain Grieve is set to start tomorrow's top-of-the-table RFU Championship clash against London Welsh at the Memorial Stadium (1945).
Grieve has recovered from the ear infection that has sidelined him since the win over Bedford Blues and replaces Marco Mama at number eight in tomorrow's starting XV.

Plymouth will be seeking revenge over Berwick when they meet in the Speedway Premier League at St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (1930).
The Bandits inflicted Plymouth’s heaviest home defeat of the season when they beat them 57-36 on their previous visit at the beginning of August.
