Leeds United soared to second place in the Championship with a comfortable 2-0 win at Plymouth thanks to goals by forwards Wilfried Gnonto and Georginio Rutter.Daniel Farke’s side made a flying start and their early pressure was rewarded with a 10th minute goal for in-form forward Gnonto, taking his goal tally to five in as many games as rain again swept across Home Park throughout.

Plymouth boss Ian Foster admitted his disappointment following a last minute Coventry leveller deep in stoppage time for a 2-2 Championship draw.Foster said: “We never get too excited when we win or too disappointed when we lose. Tonight is a difficult one. It feels like a defeat, it’s another point closer to where we want to be.”
