With the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup just two months away, Wales men are set to take part in a preparation tournament in Cadiz, Spain from December 10-21. The selected squad of 24 will play six games against high-level opposition including Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Japan and Korea during the Nations League Road to India 2023 tournament.

Gary Johnson hailed his National League basement Torquay United side as they secured an FA Cup replay at League One high flyers Derby thanks to a last minute Will Goodwin leveller in a wet and windy wild West 2-2 draw at Plainmoor.Johnson said: “We now look forward to our trip to Derby – it’s as good as getting to the next round.”
