Saltash United beat Ashton & Backwell United 4-1 to narrow the gap on unbeaten leaders Bridgwater United to eight points with a game in hand. Having joined teammate Callum O’Brien in celebrating 200 appearances prior to kick off, Saltash skipper Dave Barker marked the occasion with a goal in either half to help propel the Ashes to victory.
