Curtis Damerell hit a hat-trick as Torpoint moved to the top of the Peninsula East table in emphatic style on a cold and blustery afternoon at The Mill.

Damerell broke the deadlock in the 15th minute and completed home scoring and his hat-trick just after the hour.

Millbrook are hoping tomorrow’s FA Vase third round tie at United Services Portsmouth – the biggest game in the Cornish club’s history - survives the rain forecast in the next 24 hours.

That’s because, should it be postponed, the FA has ruled that the tie would have to be played on the following Saturday, Boxing Day.
