Torquay United FC have appointed popular former left back Kevin Nicholson as their new player-manager.
The National League side announced the appointment of 34-year-old Bay-based Nicholson this morning at 10.

The new 2015-2016 men’s West of England & South Wales Hockey League is underway.
As well as a new flagship sponsor – GoCrea8 hockey camps – there will be a new name topping the WoESWHL Premiership this season as last term’s champions Isca regained promotion to the Men’s Hockey League Conference West.

National League South high flyers Bath City will visit unbeaten South West Peninsula Premier pace setters Bodmin Town in the 2015-16 FA Cup second qualifying round on Saturday September 26.
The Romans extended their unbeaten NLS start to nine games following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Hemel Hempstead Town while Darren Gilbert's Bodmin edged past Western League Almondsbury UWE 2-0 at Priory Park in the FA Cup first qualifying round.
