Orlando Anker’s first goal since signing from Newquay sealed victory for Helston in a hugely entertaining Les Phillips Cup tie against a weakened Millbrook side at Kellaway Park last night.Anker came off the bench just after the hour with the game nicely poised at 1-1 and produced the touch of magic necessary to separate two top sides with 11 minutes left.

From the depths of despair a week earlier Bodmin Town bounced back with a Christmas special performance to beat rivals Wadebridge Town.Their 3-0 win in front of 305 supporters at Priory Park on Boxing Day came courtesy of two goals from in-form striker Dan Jennings and a last minute Jason Vincent strike.
