Holter, who joined the club on Friday on dual registration forms with Millbrook, is unlikely to put any of his strikes in his top 10 goals. They were all tap-ins.

RYAN Turner’s 87th minute winner sent Helston through to the Cornwall Senior Cup quarter-finals after a feisty clash of the Blues.

Substitute Craig Veal’s pace took him past a couple of Liskeard defenders on the right and when he fired low across the six yard box, Turner was there for the tap-in.

millbrook players celebrate  KJM ST BLAZEY chose the wrong night to come up against Millbrook skipper Tom Payne as the Green and Blacks crashed out of the Senior Cup at Jenkins Park.

The tie marked Payne’s return to action after completing a three-match ban and his hunger for the occasion was there for all to see as he scored twice and set up the other goal in a brilliant individual performance.

OVERNIGHT rain caused the postponement of Ivybridge Town’s South West Peninsula League match away to Torridgeside on Saturday.

The decision was made at 1000 following an inspection of the waterlogged pitch at Donnacroft Fields.

RIKKI Shepherd’s 16th goal of the season secured three valuable Western Premier points for Millbrook against Clem Bennelick's well-organised Ilfracombe side.

Shepherd struck in the 72nd minute and for the remainder of the game the Brook gave it their all to protect their first clean sheet in 15 games and their first win in seven.
