A Chris Wright hat-trick enabled impressive Ivybridge Town to maintain their unbeaten start in the South West Peninsula League.

Ivybridge have won eight and drawn one of their nine matches as they extended their lead to six points at the East Division summit. Second placed Bridport suffered their first defeat on Saturday, 4-3 at Stoke Gabriel.

Leading scorer Luke Forward hit a first half hat-trick as Ivybridge Town continued their unbeaten start to the South West Peninsula League season.

Forward opened the scoring in the 13^th minute and struck again six minutes later before adding a third deep into stoppage time at the end of the first half to bring his total to ten goals in eight matches.
